Tuition
Affordability and Value.
The Board of Trustees establishes tuition for each school year. Parents may decide to pay tuition annually or monthly over nine months. Parents must sign a tuition agreement before the start of each school year. A Children’s Habitat Montessori requires, when appropriate, that both parents sign the tuition agreement. Once families sign this agreement, they are responsible for that year’s tuition unless their spot is filled by another student. There is no guarantee that the spot can or will be filled, but in the case that it is, the family that withdraws will be released from their contract.
Tuition is collected through TADS, which manages our tuition collection. A late fee will be charged for any payment received after the due date. Habitat reserves the right to exclude any child from attending school for which a tuition payment has become overdue.
A Children’s Habitat not only strives to keep tuition affordable for families but also works to state fees for the year up front to better help our families as they budget for the year.

We Make Tuition Dollars Work Hard
Tuition covers majority of our school’s expenses, that primary expense being strong and competitive compensation for our highly-skilled and well trained staff members. We count on our community of sponsors and supporters for what remains.
Tuition Flexibility and Reduction
A Children’s Habitat boldly believes in a diverse and inclusive community. To foster such as environment, we are committed to making a Montessori education accessible to as many families as possible. Some of the many ways we do this are through flexible tuition payments and exemplary tuition reduction opportunities.
While we recognize that many families may not expect to be eligible for tuition assistance, we encourage prospective families to go through the application process as many still qualify.
In addition to tuition reduction, A Children’s Habitat offers payment options and discounts on programming for families with multiple children. We encourage you to explore your options as you consider joining our Habitat.
Tuition Reduction
March 1 Deadline Annually.
In 2022, A Children’s Habitat awarded nearly $30,000 to 25% of the student body. Tuition reduction ranged from 10-60% per qualifying family. Qualifying income varies on many factors, number of children in the family being one of those. If you have concerns about your ability to afford full tuition, we encourage you to apply.
