Financial Aid

To further realize our mission and in reflection of the school's core values and strategic plan, A Children's Habitat is committed to a blossoming, diverse student population. We believe that economic diversity in part, is essential to a dynamic and healthy school community. To ensure that strength and demonstrate our commitment to long-term diversity within the school, Habitat is excited to announce, after diligent planning, the structuring of a financial aid platform to provide eligible families with tuition assistance. Financial aid is considered independently from our admissions decisions, and are determined using a third-party aid assessment tool, MyTads.com.

We are pleased to announce that due to the hard work and generosity of many, we are able to offer financial assistance to all grades, based on demonstrated need. All families are expected to contribute some amount to tuition obligations and financial aid is awarded to provide monetary assistance in meeting tuition payments specifically. Families must re-apply for financial aid each school year with updated financial and family information. Aid will not be granted before all outstanding financial obligations for the current school year have been paid in full.

The financial aid application deadline for the 2022-2023 school year is March 1, 2022. Applicants can expect to receive a response by mid-March.

A Children's Habitat admits students of any race, color, creed, nationality, religion, or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. ACH does not discriminate against any student based on race, color, creed, nationality, religion, or ethnic origin in the administration of educational policies, admissions policies, or any other school-administered policies or programs.

This aid has been made possible through generous contributions from our school community supporters. While financial aid grants are gifts to students and families that are not intended to be repaid we do hope that, when possible, portions of these grants can be replenished by the recipient family at some later date to provide opportunities for future students to experience education with A Children's Habitat.

A Children's Habitat asks for a volunteer commitment from all enrolled families. All families, including those granted financial assistance, are expected to fulfill these volunteer obligations.
