GROUNDED IN OUR CORE VALUES

The Montessori Method

We strive to meet and exceed the highest Montessori standards set forth by the American Montessori Society (AMS), through organized and individualized instruction, multi-age classrooms, and carefully prepared learning environments.

Diversity

Individuals are celebrated and appreciated for their unique qualities, perspectives, and backgrounds.

Joyful Learning

Curiosity and joy for learning are habits cultivated by A Children’s Habitat.

Peace Education

Kindness, empathy, and peaceful conflict resolution comprise and inform both our explicit and implicit curriculum.

Community

Inspired by a spirit of community and the power of collective talents, we focus efforts on building relationships and working with one another.

Stewardship

Just as we care for one another, we care for our broader social and natural worlds.

WE’RE ALWAYS UP TO SOMETHING AMAZING

🕊️ Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. believed that peace is not merely the absence of conflict, but the presence of justice, understanding, and compassion. In Montessori education, peace is nurtured every day—through respect for the child, grace and courtesy, community responsibility, and opportunities to practice empathy and cooperation. ♥️On this day, we honor Dr. King’s legacy by CONTINUING the work of peace education: helping children develop a strong sense of self, care for others, and responsibility for the world around them. When children feel seen, valued, and capable, they grow into adults who lead with kindness, courage, and justice. ☮️📸 found in LIFE: “Remembering Martin Luther King, Jr., 40 Years Later”#Montessori #MLKDay #PeaceEducation #GraceAndCourtesy #MontessoriLife
