Alyssa Dyar

Director of Community & Enrollment

With 12 years of teaching experience in Montessori classrooms, Alyssa is pleased to join A Children’s Habitat community. Alyssa’s appreciation and familiarity with the Montessori method started young. While growing up in Indianapolis, Alyssa attended IPS Montessori #91. After receiving her bachelor’s in mathematics and linguistics from Indiana University, Alyssa worked in National Parks, community art centers, libraries and schools. She is dedicated to serving communities and helping children and families thrive. She received an M.S. Ed from Indiana University in 2025, specializing in art education.
In her spare time she enjoys making art, music, and food. Most weekends you can find her outside in her garden or tromping through the woods. She hopes to kayak more this year and continue to hone in on her fishing skills.
