Cassie Stec

Director of Operations

Cassie Stec is a graduate of Butler University where she earned her Bachelors of English with a specialization in Professional Writing. She recently graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering. Cassie has held a variety of positions both on and off Butler’s campus. Some of her past positions include laboratory technician at a geotechnical engineering firm, director of programming at Butler University, and assistant equipment manager at Hinkle Fieldhouse. While earning her degrees, Cassie worked at ACH as a substitute teacher, helping both in and out of the classroom. Many students know Cassie for her colorful stories about various Disney characters and rides from when she worked for Walt Disney World for a year-long internship. 

Cassie is well acquainted with the Montessori method, given that she was a Montessori student herself from preschool through fourth grade. She has fond memories of the sandpaper letters work and the large map puzzles of different continents. Cassie credits her love of reading, willingness to explore other cultures, and storytelling skills to her Montessori education. 

Always a lover of learning, Cassie’s hobbies include fabric arts and reading. In her spare time, she takes an annual Halloween theme park trip to visit with her friends and old co-workers in Orlando and enjoys relaxing with her dog, Cairo.
