Kellen Baker

PERMANENT SUBSTITUTE

Kellen first began substitute teaching in his home town of Fort Wayne, Indiana, at FWCS in 2022. In the summer of 2023, he moved to Indianapolis and began subbing at IPS, eventually taking a long-term position at one of their Montessori schools. After spending that year building a love and understanding for the Montessori philosophy, he joined the team at A Children’s Habitat as a full-time substitute teacher in August 2024.

When not at the school, he can likely be found in a venue playing music in one of his numerous rock and roll bands, a venture he began at 12 yeras old. Currently, his group Good Flying Birds (recently signed to Carpark Records) is taking flight, touring extensively in and out of the USA.
