ASSISTANT TEACHER LOWER ELEMENTARY AND LILAC ROOM

Maya discovered the Montessori philosophy while raising her daughter. She enjoyed the curiosity and independence that came from their learned experiences and became passionate about learning more. She later worked as a Primary Assistant, where she spent four years in a Montessori environment. Maya finds working with children inspiring, and she’s grateful for all she has learned alongside them. She is excited for her time at A Children’s Habitat, helping with both Lower Elementary and Primary students. Outside of work, Maya often discovers new music, tries different hobbies, and spends time outdoors.
